Introduction
The system provides a password reset function for non-domain users. Domain users should send request to change their domain password to domain administrator.
The user must have an email address set to manually reset the password.
If the functionality has been enabled in the system parameters, the link below the login form will appear on the PlusWorkflow system login screen. To set a new password, click "Forgot my password" (see figure 1.1).
Figure 1.1 shows the login form with the option to restore the password.
After clicking on the link, another form will appear. You must fill in both fields on this form, otherwise the system will not allow us to reset your password. In this case, provide username and e-mail address.
Figure 1.2 shows the password reset form.
After correctly completing the login and email address, click on the "Reset password" button. After clicking on the button, the system will send an email with an activation link and a code. Click on the link sent in the email.
When we enter the link, another form will appear on which we will set a new password.
Figure 1.3 shows the form for setting a new password.
In the code field, enter the code that was sent in the email. Then enter the new password and confirm it. The indicator at the bottom of the form will show us whether the password secures our account well or should be strengthened. We cannot use a password that has previously been used. This applies up to 3 passwords back. After completing the form, click the "Change Password" button.
Configuration
The configuration is activating the above functionality in the system parameters. To activate password reset, change the PasswordRecoveryEnabled parameter value in the Authorization category.
